With the 7 stainless steel trays in the SAHARA you get a huge amount of drying capacity which lets you experiment with all kinds of different foods. Our food-grade and temperature resistant drying sheets, for use with the Sahara Dehydrator, are great for holding liquids for fruit leathers, sticky foods, or small items that might fall through the shelves.  They are expertly designed for use with liquids or high water content produce.There are 2 different materials available:  Silicone & Non-Stick Teflon Coated.  There are no right or wrong choices.
