I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this coat for the price. When the features are added, it’s even more surprising. Other reviews have mentioned that the cords do not match. The batteries (yes, two!) that I received can be charged with C type cords and the coat connects via regular USB ports. I left the coat on high (indoors) with a full battery and it stayed hot for 3.5-4 hours on high. The batteries recharge rapidly but I did not time it. The heating zones are in the right places, especially the neck and they heat up quickly. It’s easy to change temperatures and the button that changes colors indicates what heating level is in use and there is no need to dig into the pockets to turn the battery off as it will turn itself off when the button on the outside of the coat is turned off. Same for turning it on, use the outside button and it turns on the battery.The features I like are the two inner zippered pockets for the batteries, one on each side. It’s easy to carry the spare and they balance out so the coat hangs evenly though the batteries are really not heavy enough to notice. There are two side hand pockets with zippers lined with silky soft velvety fleece and a zippered outside pocket on the upper left that is big enough for some phones. Mine fit, but only with a lot of wiggling. There are two bonus zippered pockets on each sleeve near the shoulder, both able to fit my phone in the case. Women’s coats usually don’t have SEVEN pockets!The neck and hood are both lined with silky fleece. The hood has stretch cord and velcro to really cinch it down and it zips off for times it’s not needed. There is stretch cord on the bottom of the coat, too, to keep the cold from creeping in and to stop the heat from seeping out. There is elastic and vercro at the sleeves to cinch around the wrist.The area on each sleeve for velcro backed patches is cool and the patches that came with the coat say “venture” with a stylized American flag in black and white. I don’t know if I’ll evey have my own patches to add so I’ll wear these for now.
